A pleasant ride over nearly flat terrain. Quaker Landing Road, Route 661, is worth exploring -- i's only 2.2 miles to the Chester River from the intersection of Routes 289 and 661.

A more challenging route, not only because of its greater length, but also because several of the roads used are not signed. Kennedyville, Still Pond and Betterton offer a tour chances to stop, purchase food and drink or use a restroom. Betterton offers some good views of the Chesapeake Bay and of its western shore, including Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
