Downtown Chestertown
Enjoy a weekend filled with holiday events. The official lighting of Downtown for the holidays, Kent County Marching Band,
Santa arrives @ 7pm on Friday by fire truck, pictures taken with Santa, Caroling in fountain park, downtown stores open late.
Annual Jaycees Christmas Parade is at 10 am on Saturday.

Dozens of Christmas trees decorated by area organizations and businesses,
also many more dozens of poinsettias honoring local people and groups.
Cash prizes to top four trees voted on by visitors. Emmanuel Episcopal Church Hall, Cross & High Sts., Chestertown.
. Free, donations appreciated. Sponsored for the 25th year by Soroptimist International of Kent County.

Tree of Lights Ceremony
Chester River Hospital Center
Purchase a light in memory of someone special or in honor of a friend, teacher,
colleague or anyone you would like to recognize for $10 per light.
All proceeds directly benefit hospice services offered through Chester River Home Care & Hospice.
Names of those remembered or honored will be displayed on scrolls next to the tree. Scrolls will be updated through December 31. The tree lighting ceremony will be followed by caroling and refreshments served in the lobby.

cookie you have decorated. Awards will be given out at 12 noon to 4 age groups. All children
will be recognized for their achievment.
