Code Home Rule Bill No. 4-2001
A Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.
in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, County Government Center,
Chestertown, Maryland on Code Home Rule Bill No. 4-2001 which is: an
Act to legalize the 2001 Supplements to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Kent County (1994 Edition) published under the direction of the Board
of County Commissioners of Kent County and making provision for the
publication, sale and distribution of the supplements.
County
Commissioners Ronald H. Fithian, Larry B. Beck and W. Michael Newnam
were in attendance as well as four citizens and members of the media.
Notice of the public hearing was read
into the record by Commissioner Fithian.
The Executive Assistant advised the purpose
of this legislation was to legalize the 2001 supplements to the Code
of Public Local Laws which will then be available for sale and distribution.
There was not anyone present who wished
to speak for or against this legislative bill.
The third reading of this proposed legislation
will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, the next legislative day.
