Code Home Rule Bill No. 1-2005

A Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, April 5, at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners’ Hearing Room, County Government Center, Chestertown, Maryland on Code Home Rule Bill No. 1-2005 which is an Act to legalize the 2004 supplements to the Code of the Public Local Laws of Kent County (1994 edition) published under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners of Kent County and making provision for the publication, sale and distributions of the supplements.

County Commissioners Roy W. Crow and William W. Pickrum were in attendance as well as Susanne Hayman, County Administrator, three interested citizens, and a member of the media.

Notice of the public hearing was read into the record by Commissioner Pickrum.

There was no one in attendance who wished to speak for or against this proposed legislation.

This hearing was taped for reference and adjourned at 10:05 a.m. The third reading of this proposed legislation will take place on the next legislative day, April 19, 2005.
