Millington Wildlife Management Area
This 3800 acre wildlife management area in northeastern Kent County is the
primary upland game management and research center in Maryland.
Recreational activities at this park include birdwatching, fishing,
hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, nature photography and
hunting.During hunting seasons a permit is required to use the area.
Sassafras River Natural Resource Management Area
The Sassafras River N.R.M.A. consists of 1000 acres of varied terrain, including
farmland, forests, sandy beaches, marshlands and tidal ponds. Here
you can enjoy a great variety of wildlife, birds, picnicing, hiking,
biking, and horseback riding.Parking is limited and no vehicles
are permitted.
