Assuring a better quality of life and future for the families in Kent County goes beyond what any single agency or organization can accomplish on its own. As members of the community, adults, young adults, and children alike, we are all partners in the process.
The Local Management Board for Children’s & Family Services of Kent County (LMB) is here to bring different entities together to meet shared goals and assure a stronger future for our community. Those entities consist of the Kent County Commissioners, the Department of Social Services, the Department of Juvenile Services, Mid-Shore Mental Health Systems, Kent County Public Schools, Kent County Department of Parks & Recreation, the Kent County Department of Housing and Community Development, Kent County Sheriff’s Office, Kent County Behavioral Health and members of the community who volunteer on our Board in the hopes of making a difference for children and families.
It is the goal of the LMB to serve and strengthen families in our local communities through creative programs and activities developed by and for the residents of Kent County.
