SECONDHAND SMOKE What Is Secondhand Smoke? Secondhand smoke is the smoke you breath in from a burning cigarette and the smoke exhaled by a smoker. Over 4,000 chemicals have been found in secondhand smoke, 400 being poisonous, and at least 43 of the chemicals cause cancer. Here is what SASS members had to say about Secondhand Smoke: 1. Even though its you that's smoking, you have to think about all the people that are around you falling to the ground. 2. Many people ask you PLEASE don't you dare smoke around me.
