Building on over 50 years of service, Kent County Public Library embraces change and innovation to provide members of the community with opportunities to learn, enrich their lives, and connect with one another at its main location in Chestertown, branches in Rock Hall and Galena, and a variety of community engagement initiatives. In addition to lending books and other materials, KCPL provides free public computer access, wi-fi, online classes, and other continuing education opportunities. Adult programs on a wide variety of topics are offered throughout the year, as well as regular book clubs, craft groups, and film showings. Children's programs are offered year-round with a special emphasis on summer reading programs that provide exciting hands-on experiences for kids of all ages and teens
