We are disappointed to announce that the 2022 Chestertown HP Festival is now canceled.

Although we had hoped to host a fun, family-friendly event for lovers of Harry Potter, Warner Brothers have demanded that we stop our event. We believed that we were operating the event in such a way that would not infringe upon their trademark and copyrights, however, Warner Brothers disagree and refuses to provide additional guidance to enable us to host the event without the threat of legal action.

We apologize to the vendors, visitors, business owners, and volunteers who have supported the festival over the years. We apologize to those who had planned to visit on October 14 and 15, 2022.
